Create media
If you have sermon slides, videos, curriculum, or other media you want to use in your service, store them in your Media library to use in a plan.
Tip
You can sync media files with supported third-party presentation software to show on the screen during your service.
Create a media item
A media item is a container for one or more media files. You can add different media types (such as PDFs and videos) to a single media item.

Select Add media in the top right.
Add details for your new media item:
Media Title: Enter a title for your media item.
Media Type: Choose a category for the media item (e.g., Audio, Video, Curriculum, PowerPoint, etc.).
Length: Enter the duration of this item, if applicable.
Creator: Add information about who created this item. You can sort your media items by creator in the row view of the Media page.
Themes: Add keywords to specify any themes that apply to this media item. You can search for media items by theme by expanding the Filter options on the Media page.

Edit a media item
From the media item page, you can edit the media information, view the item's scheduling information, add files, update archive options, and add notes and tags.
Select Media from the top navigation.
Select a media item to open the media item page.
View and edit the media item from this page:
Select Actions and choose Edit from the dropdown to edit Media Information or Archive to archive this media item.
Schedule: View plans in which this item was scheduled. Select a setting from the dropdown to adjust the date range.

If you have multiple videos or images uploaded to a media item, you can choose which file to set as the thumbnail:
Hover over a video or image in the Files section of the media item.
Select the ✏️ edit icon.
Select Set Primary Thumbnail from the Thumbnail section of the popup. This makes the selected image or video the primary thumbnail when you view this media item.
If you don't see this button, the image you're editing is already the Current Primary Thumbnail for this item.
If you choose a video and select Set Primary Thumbnail, a random frame from the video will be chosen as the thumbnail. You can not select a specific frame for your video thumbnail.
Select Save.
Access media files
After a file is added to a media item page, you can edit, view, download, or play the file.
Select Media from the top navigation.
Add a text filter to search for a media item by name, or select Filter to expand the filter menu options.
Select an item to open the media item's page.
Hover over a file to access additional media item options.
Select the ✏️ edit icon to edit the file tags and view license information.
Select the second icon to open or download the file, depending on the file type.
