Add and assign times
Add, edit, or delete times and dates for your plans, and then assign teams and positions to those times to avoid double-booking members across teams. When doing this, the days of the week are color-coded, allowing you to quickly distinguish between days if your plan spans multiple days.

Why are time assignments so important?
Most of the things that make Services so valuable are based on what time each volunteer is serving. If their team is not assigned to at least one service time:
The plan will not be shown on their My Schedule page in Services.
The plan will not be shown on their Me page in Church Center.
They will not get any reminders.
Blockout, conflict, and preference notifications won't work.
You can adjust time assignments when creating or editing times in a plan.
Add times to plans
An editor or administrator can create new times in a plan and update team assignments.
You can see a plan's times in the Times section on the left sidebar.
Add a service time
Service times are the main times in your plan! Typically, these are when your weekly services occur.
Warning
Service times determine your plan's date. Without at least one service time, your plan will appear as No dates on the Plans page.
To add a service time:
Add rehearsal or other times
You can create separate times for rehearsals, team arrivals, or other times when your teams need to meet outside of the service. These times appear in either the Rehearsal Times or Other Times sections.
To add a rehearsal or other time:
Edit times
Editors and administrators can edit times and assignments for a specific plan. If necessary, you can apply these changes to future plans and previously scheduled team members.
Tip
If you need to adjust times for entire plans, you can reschedule your plans.
To edit a time:
Warning
Choosing a different option from the Service/Rehearsal/Other selection will change the type of time you're editing. Do not change a service time to a rehearsal time unless you intend to, as this will affect your assigned teams and plan date. To edit a rehearsal time, select a specific time from the Rehearsal Times section.
Delete times
Important
There's no way to bulk delete times from multiple plans. You must manually delete times from each individual plan.
View assigned times
You can see the times to which you've been assigned on a plan page. In the Times section on the left of a plan, your assigned times will show up differently depending on your permission levels:
People with viewer permissions and higher can see all of a plan's times. Their assigned times will be highlighted, while the times to which they're not assigned will be grayed out.
Scheduled viewers can only see the times for which they're scheduled.
Assign new teams to multiple times
On the web version of Services, you can use time assignments if you make a new team and want to assign it to multiple times at once, even across plans in the future where the times aren't the same. This saves you from having to edit each one individually.
From a plan page, select the arrow next to the Times header.
Choose Team Assignments from the menu options.
In the Team Assignments section, select your team from the dropdown.
Select the checkboxes next to any times that apply to this team.
Select Submit to finish assigning your team to these times.
These time assignments reflect the current plan and all future plans. So, if you see a time not listed in the current plan, it exists in a future plan. These assignments are reflected in the times and on a person's schedule.
