Add or edit a key
Adding keys to an arrangement helps keep your files organized. Create a new key in your arrangement and edit its details so you can quickly choose the correct key and files when adding a song to a plan.

Add a new key
You can add a new key to a song from the Songs page or from a plan. To add a new key from the Songs page:
Select the Songs page in the top navigation.
Select the song you want to edit.
Select an arrangement tab from the left sidebar.
Select Add Key below the existing arrangement and key sections.
Enter the new key's details in the Add Key popup:
Start/End: Select a key from the Start and End dropdowns. If your song has a key change and ends in a different key, set that here. Select Same from the End dropdown if there is no key change for this arrangement.
Description: If this is a certain worship leader's preferred key or is the preferred congregational key, enter that here.
Capos: Add an alternate key to get Capo versions of chord charts. Any chord charts made using our Lyrics & Chords Editor will give you charts in the main key and any alternate keys you add to a plan.
Select files to import: If you've integrated with RehearsalPack, RehearsalMix, PraiseCharts , or SongSelect, you can import available files.
Select Save to apply your changes and go back to the song page or plan.
To add a new key from a plan:
Select the Plans page in the top navigation.
If you have multiple folders, select the folder that contains the service type you're working with.
Select a plan from the service type you're working with.
Select a song item to edit its details.
Select the key dropdown in the Linked Song section.
Select Add a key at the bottom of the key dropdown.
Enter the new key's details in the Add Key popup:
Start/End: Select a key from the Start and End dropdowns. If your song has a key change and ends in a different key, set that here. Select Same from the End dropdown if there is no key change for this arrangement.

Edit or delete a key
To edit a key from the Songs page:
Select the Songs page in the top navigation.
Select the song you want to edit.
Select an arrangement tab from the left sidebar.
Select the header for the key you want to edit (e.g., Bb).
Edit the key information in the popup and select Save, or delete the key by selecting Delete.
To edit a key from a plan:
Select the Plans page in the top navigation.
If you have multiple folders, select the folder that contains the service type you're working with.
Select a plan from the service type you're working with.
Select a song item to edit its details.
Select the Files tab in the Edit song sidebar.
Select the ✏️ edit icon in the top right of the key you want to edit.
Edit the key information in the popup and select Save, or delete the key by selecting Delete.
Warning
Deleting the key cannot be undone.
