Set up needed positions
Set up needed positions in plans or templates when you don't know who you want to schedule, but know you need a certain number of people to fill a position. Then, you can schedule people by selecting the needed position, or enable signup sheets for others to choose their position until all positions are filled.
Tip
If you need the same positions for most of your plans, add the number of needed positions to a template so you can reuse them in multiple plans.
Add needed positions
Schedule a person for a needed position
Select the Plans page in the top navigation.
If you have multiple folders, select the folder containing the service type you're working with.
Select a plan from the service type you're working with.
Select the Teams tab on the plan page. If positions are needed on a team, the number of positions that need to be filled will appear in a red bubble beneath the position name.
Select Needed beneath the position that you want to schedule for.
In the sidebar list, select the team members you want to schedule for the position, depending on the number of positions that need to be filled. Team members with no conflicts for the selected position will show up at the top of the list.
Select ⊕ Add [number] in the top right of the sidebar.
Select the Plans page in the bottom navigation.
If you have multiple folders, select the folder containing the service type you're working with.
Select a plan from the service type you're working with.
Tap a plan date to open that plan page.
Select the Teams tab. If positions are needed on a team, the number of positions that need to be filled will appear in a red bubble beneath the position name.
Tap Needed beneath the position that you want to schedule for.
On the next page, select the team members you want to schedule for the position, depending on the number of positions that need to be filled. Team members with no conflicts for the selected position will show up at the top of the list.
Tap Done in the top right.
