Export a template or plan
You can save a plan as a template or copy information from an existing template into a new template or plan.
Important
Administrators and editors have permission to export items, notes, and people. Schedulers only have permission to export people from teams they lead.
Save a plan as a template
Save plan information as a template so you have an easier starting point moving forward.
Select the Plans page from the top navigation in Services.
If you have multiple folders, select the folder that contains the service type you're working with.
Select a plan from the service type you're working with.
Select Actions in the top right.
Choose Save as template from the dropdown.
In the Include section, choose which plan elements to include in the new template:
Check the Items or Notes boxes to include plan items or notes from the existing plan in the new template.
Check the boxes next to the teams you want to include in the template. Select My to check all of the teams you're a part of, or select All teams from this plan or template.
Use the dropdown at the top to choose which service type to create this template in.
Select the Quantity of templates you'd like to create.
Enter a name for your template.
Select Submit to save your changes.
Copy a template
If you need to create a template that's similar to an existing one, you can start by making a copy. You can also copy a template into a different service type.
Select the Plans page from the top navigation in Services.
If you have multiple folders, select the folder that contains the service type you're working with.
Select the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right of the service type you're working with.
Choose Templates from the dropdown.
Select a template from the list to open it.
Select Actions in the top right.
Choose Save as template from the dropdown.
In the Include section on the left, choose which plan elements to include in the new template:
Check the Items or Notes boxes to include plan items or notes from the existing plan in the new template.
Check the boxes next to the teams you want to include in the template. Select My to check all of the teams you're a part of, or select All teams from this plan or template.
Select a service type from the first dropdown to choose where the new template should belong.
Choose how many templates you'd like to create using the Quantity dropdown
Enter a name for your template.
Select Submit to save your template.
Create a plan from a template
Create a new plan directly from a template page as a starting point.
Select the Plans page from the top navigation in Services.
If you have multiple folders, select the folder that contains the service type you're working with.
Select the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right of the service type you're working with.
Choose Templates from the dropdown.
Select a template from the list to open it.
Select Actions in the top right.
Choose Copy plan from the dropdown.
In the Include section, choose which plan elements to include in the new template:
Check the Items or Notes boxes to include plan items or notes from the existing plan in the new template.
Check the boxes next to the teams you want to include in the template. Select My to check all of the teams you're a part of, or select All teams from this plan or template.
Use the dropdown at the top to choose which service type to create the new plan in.
Select the Quantity of plans you'd like to create.
Choose a recently viewed plan to Copy Times From, or select None (No Times) if you'd prefer to manually add a time to the plan.
If you chose to copy times from an existing plan, choose a plan date from the Starting On dropdown.
Important
This dropdown will be grayed out if you choose None (No Times). You can set the date once you manually add a time to the plan.
Select Submit to save your changes.
