SongSelect® by CCLI integration
The SongSelect® integration lets you import lyrics and chord charts from your SongSelect account into Services. A paid SongSelect account is required.
Only administrators can enable SongSelect, but once it's enabled, any editor can add lyrics or chord charts to arrangements. Editors can check integration settings, but not turn the integration on or off.
Warning
SongSelect requires activity every 60 days to keep the integration enabled. If SongSelect hasn't been used for 60 days, the integration is disabled and must be manually re-enabled.
What does SongSelect consider as activity? Good question! Using the All Songs tab to search the CCLI database or importing a CCLI file both count as activity.
Enable the SongSelect integration
Select the Songs page from the top navigation.
Select the Actions button in the top right.
Choose Song File Integrations from the dropdown.
Under SongSelect, select Set up.
Review SongSelect's End User License Agreement and select I agree, continue.
Enter your CCLI username and password on the CCLI login page.
Select Sign In.
Select the Allow button to link the accounts. You'll then be taken back to Planning Center, where you'll receive confirmation that the integration was successful.
Add SongSelect charts to new or existing songs
You can import SongSelect charts when you add a new song. To add SongSelect charts to existing songs:
Select the Songs page from the top navigation.
Select a song title from the list to open that song page.
Select an existing arrangement from the left sidebar.
Important
Before importing files, make sure the song has a CCLI# listed. If you need to add a CCLI#, select the title from the top left of the specific song page and enter the number in the CCLI# field of the Song Information popup.
Select the ➕ plus button in the Files section.
Select the Integrations button in the popup.
Select the SongSelect tab.
Select the checkboxes next to the types of files you want to import:
Lyrics: If there are no lyrics in the Lyrics & Chords editor yet, you can import lyrics as plain text. To create a lyric PDF, select the Lyrics button from the Create PDFs section of the editor.
ChordPro® (Editable): If an editable chord chart is available for the song, you can import it into the Lyrics & Chords editor. This creates a transposed chord chart in all of the arrangement's keys that matches any changes you make in the editor.
Chord Chart: Import a fixed PDF chord chart in the selected key. You can choose a key from the Chord chart key dropdown below.
Select Submit to begin importing your files.
If your SongSelect subscription includes other types of files, like lead sheets, you must download them directly from SongSelect and manually upload them to the song.

Token Failed or Token Revoked: These errors typically happen when your login information for SongSelect has changed.
Copy Limit Exceeded: SongSelect subscriptions only allow a certain number of chord charts to be downloaded or printed every year, called your copy limit. Every time you add a chord chart from SongSelect to your Services, that is one copy toward your copy limit.
Permission Denied: This could be an issue with your login, subscription level change, or copy limit.
Chart Not Available: The chord chart is unavailable within SongSelect or exists within SongSelect but has not been made available to Services.
If your error doesn't match any of the above, contact Planning Center Support to look into the error.
