Edit song sequences
Add a sequence to your song arrangement! Sequences appear at the top of any chord charts you create in the Lyrics & Chords editor (not uploaded PDFs).
Create or edit a sequence from an arrangement on the songs page or from the song on a plan.
Edit from an arrangement
Select the Songs page in the top navigation.
Select a song you want to edit.
Select an arrangement from the left sidebar, or select Add to create a new one. Sequences are attached to arrangements, so you won't see one unless you select a specific arrangement.
Select the sequence under the arrangement title, or select Create if no sequence has been added yet.
Edit the sequence in the popup:
Drag a label from the right to the left to add it to your sequence.
Drag and drop labels to reorder your sequence.
Delete labels from your sequence by hovering over them and selecting the X.
Add custom labels by typing a new label name into the Add a new label field and selecting the ➕ plus icon.
Important
Custom labels are only added to that individual arrangement and are removed from the list if not used in the current sequence.
If you find yourself adding the same custom label to every song you do, contact Planning Center Support with the label idea and the affected songs. Select the ? question mark icon in the toolbar to open a support request!
