Edit the order of service

If you have editor permissions or higher in Services, you can edit the songs in your service order from a plan page in Music Stand. The process for editing the order of service depends on the device you're using.

On an iOS device

To edit the order of service:

  1. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left to open the sidebar.

  2. Select the Plans tab.

  3. Select a plan date from the list to open it.

  4. Take the following actions on the order of service:

    • Reorder items: Tap and hold an item to drag it to a new location.

    • Edit or delete an item: Swipe left on the item you want to edit and tap Edit or Delete.

      If you choose Edit, you will be temporarily switched to the Services app to edit the item.

      Warning

      Deleted items cannot be recovered.

    • Add a song: Tap the ➕ plus icon to open the song library in the sidebar, then drag and drop a song to add it to your plan.

      If your song has only one arrangement and key, it will be chosen automatically. If not, you will be prompted to select the arrangement and key before it is added.

On an Android device

To edit the order of service:

  1. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left to open the sidebar.

  2. Select the Plans tab.

  3. Select a plan date from the list to open it.

  4. Take the following actions on the order of service:

    • Reorder plan items: Tap and hold an item to drag it to a new location.

    • Edit or delete an item: Tap the three-dot icon next to the item you want to edit, then choose Edit or Delete.

      If you choose Edit, you will be temporarily switched to the Services app to edit the item.

    • Add a song: Tap the ➕ plus icon to open the song library in the sidebar, then drag and drop a song to add it to your plan.
