Manage settings

You can manage receipts and statements, donor numbers, your treasurer's signature, and Text2Give in the Giving settings.

Important

Administrators can view and change settings. Bookkeepers can only view settings.

To access settings:

  1. Select the Manage page in the top navigation.

  2. Choose the Settings tab in the left sidebar.

The settings page features different options depending on the country you're in. Open the section below to see the settings that apply to your country.

  • Receipts & Statements: By default, emails are sent from the church email defined in Account Settings. Use this field to set a different email for Giving-specific correspondence, which is visible on your donation form and set as the "reply-to" email address.

    This tax disclaimer, required by the IRS, is included on all donation receipts and in the footer of any donor statements you issue.

  • Donors: If you use a numbered envelope system, where donors are assigned numbers and issued numbered envelopes, enable this type of system by checking the box. Learn more in the article on donor numbers.

  • Text2Give: Enable Text2Give by selecting the Allow donors to make a donation by text checkbox.

  • Treasurer Signature: Upload the treasurer's signature and enter the name and title of the person who signed.
