Check-Ins data
You can access data about events or people within Check-Ins. Use the event chart, reports, overview, or information from a person's profile to track activity.
Event chart
The event chart shows information based on a selected time frame and event(s). These graphs show the total number of unique people checked in or counted in Headcounts.
Select the Events page from the top navigation in Check-Ins.
Check the boxes next to the events you'd like to include in the chart, or select All events to view all your events.
(Optional) If you checked the box to view a single event, an Options button appears. Select it to group data by kind or location and view all or specific locations, times, kinds, and headcount types.
Use the dropdown at the top of the chart to choose a timeframe. If you choose Custom, set a date range for your chart.
Choose whether to display data by day, week, month, or year, depending on your timeframe.
Hover over a bar on the chart to get more information about that specific date's attendance numbers.
(Optional) Select the ⬇️ Export CSV button to download a CSV file showing the chart's data.
Tip
If you want to import past general attendance from another system, contact Planning Center Support.
Overview
From the Overview tab on any event, view the breakdown of everyone checked in.
Select the Events page from the top navigation in Check-Ins.
Choose an event from the list.
On the Overview tab, you can see:
Total People: Total number of unique people checked in, including any potential duplicates.
Regular/Guest/Volunteer: The breakdown of unique people checked in by type (regular, guest, or volunteer).
Checked In/Checked Out/First Timers: View the percentage increase or decrease of those checked in, checked out, and first timers compared to the last session.
Times: View how many people were checked in for each time.
Important
If someone checks in to multiple times, they'll be listed once in the Total People box and once next to each event time they checked into.
Locations: View the breakdown of check-ins based on location. If you want to break it down further by time, select the All Times dropdown and choose a specific time.
Reports
From the Reports tab of any event, you can view one of the reports that an editor has created for this event. Depending on the report settings, you can view attendance numbers and additional information about people who checked into a session.

Important
Editors can create new reports, but viewers can only view the reports created by editors.
To view existing reports in an event:
Select the Events page from the top navigation in Check-Ins.
Choose an event from the list.
Select the Reports tab from the left sidebar.
Select Preview below a report name to preview your data or select CSV or PDF to download that file of the report.
Profile
You can view a person's activity, personal details, medical notes, available locations, and household information on their profile page.
Select the People page from the top navigation in Check-Ins.
Select a name to open that person's profile, or search for someone's name using the search bar in the top right.
On the profile page, choose whether to view the Activity tab or the Households tab.
Activity: View this person's check-in activity, personal details, medical notes, and available locations. Check out the article on how to track a person's activity for more details.
Households: View this person's household information, as well as any trusted people or those not authorized to pick up the child.
Widgets
You can add widgets to Planning Center Home to keep track of data from there.
