Archive or delete events

If there's an event you won't need for a while, or if you have a test event you no longer need, you can archive it! When you need the event again, you can unarchive it.

You can also delete events that you plan to never use again, or delete a single session from an event.

Archive an event

You can archive an event from the event's settings tab.

  1. Select the Events page in the top navigation.

  2. Choose an event from the left sidebar.

  3. Select the Settings tab from the left sidebar of the event page.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Archive Event.

  5. Select Yes, archive it in the popup to hide this event from the list.

Delete a session

You can delete a single session without deleting the entire event.

Warning

Deleted sessions cannot be recovered.

  1. Select the Events page in the top navigation.

  2. Choose an event from the left sidebar.

  3. Use the arrows in the top left of the event page to find the session date you'd like to delete.

  4. Select the Settings tab from the left sidebar.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete Session in the bottom right.

  6. Select Yes, delete it from the popup to confirm deletion.

Delete an event

In most cases, archiving an event is all you need. It saves all the past history of check-ins, but won't show up on the stations screen or in any reports.

However, if you don't want to keep the event data, you can permanently delete an event after it's been archived.

Warning

Once deleted, any information from that event cannot be recovered.

To delete an archived event:

  1. Select the Events page in the top navigation.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the left sidebar and select Include archived events.

  3. Select the event from the list.

  4. Select the Settings tab in the left sidebar of the event page.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete Event.

  6. Select Yes, delete it to permanently delete the event, as well as all the history on every person in that event.

Once the event is deleted, it will not show up in any person's history, in any reports, and it will not be accessible on any page.

Unarchive the event

  1. Select the Events page in the top navigation.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the left sidebar and select Include archived events.

  3. Select the event from the list in the sidebar.

  4. Select the Settings tab in the left sidebar of the event's page.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Unarchive Event.

  6. Select Yes, unarchive it in the popup.

The event will now show on Check-Ins stations.
