Manage mobile app notifications

You can choose where you want to receive scheduling notifications or notifications for all Services emails. If you'd like to receive them in the Services mobile app, you can manage those notifications in the settings.

Warning

These steps will only work if your device settings are enabled to receive notifications.

To enable app notifications, tap Settings from your profile, and then go to the Notification settings.

Once you choose your preferred app, choose the notifications you'd like to show on the app.

  1. If both Services and Church Center are downloaded onto the device, you can choose which app receives the notifications.

  2. You will receive push notifications for each type you enable, in addition to the email you receive.

  3. If you want to receive a text message with a notification, you can enable the notifications you prefer.

    Important

    Text notification options will only show if the carrier is listed in your profile.

Services LIVE notifications

If you leave the Services app with Services LIVE still open, you'll get a push notification for chat messages. Once you close LIVE in the app, you'll stop receiving those notifications.

Services mobile app

To access notifications, select your profile picture on the top right, and then choose the Settings button at the bottom.

From the Settings page, manage notifications for your team and schedule and chat conversations under Notifications.

Team and schedule 

Select the types of notifications you want to receive in the Services app.

  1. Choose your preferred app for receiving team and scheduling notifications. This does not include chat.

  2. Toggle on the types of notifications you want to see in the app.

  3. Include unread messages in your badge count or toggle that option off to only see pending requests in your badge count.

Chat conversations 

Choose your preferred app for team and group conversations to view all chat notifications in one app or in both the Church Center and Services mobile apps.

  1. Choose Team conversations to select your preferred app for Services chat notifications.

  2. Choose Group conversations to select your preferred app for group chat notifications.

Important

Looking to only view team conversations in the Services mobile app? Tap the chat icon at the top, then the filter icon on the top left to select the All my teams & plans filter.
