Set up item row colors for a service type

To set up custom item row colors, go to the service type settings page.

Important

You can only manage service type settings when using Services on a web browser.

  1. Select the Plans page from the top navigation in Services.

  2. If you have multiple folders, select the folder that contains the service type you're working with.

  3. Select the ⚙️ settings icon to the right of the service type you're working with.

  4. Choose Settings from the dropdown.

  5. Adjust the settings in the Item Row Colors section on the bottom left:

    • Select Add to add a new item type, and choose its color. Any item whose title matches this text will show your chosen color. Item matching is not case sensitive.

    • Select the ✏️ edit icon next to an item row to change its color, then select Save.

View custom item row colors

You can toggle custom item row colors on a plan when using a web browser or the Services mobile app. Item row colors are tied to each individual, and apply to all plans in a specific service type.

Group keywords with item row colors

Some churches often repeat elements with slight differences during their services. Use item row colors associated with that element's keyword to identify these similar instances at a glance.

For example, add an item row color for the keyword "Prayer" and start all service prayers with that keyword to make them the same color on the Order tab, even though their titles may vary after the original keyword.
