Donation notifications

If you want to make sure you don't miss anything in Giving, you can enable notifications in your profile. You'll receive an email and a toolbar notification when any of the selected information changes.

Important

Only Giving administrators can enable or update notifications for bookkeepers. If you are a bookkeeper and want your notifications adjusted, contact your account's Giving administrators for assistance.

To access your notification settings and turn on notifications:

  1. Select your initials or profile picture in the top right corner.

  2. Select My profile.

  3. Select User profile on the right.

  4. Check the box next to any notification you'd like to receive.

Type of notifications

There are several types of notifications available:

  • Recurring donations: Get notified when a new recurring donation is created, when one fails to process, or if a donor stops their recurring donation.

  • Committed batches.

  • A profile with donation history has been deleted in People. These notifications are especially helpful to prevent problems when issuing tax statements.

  • A one-time donation over a set amount has been received. To receive a notification for every donation given, set the amount to one dollar.
