Enable the Church Center App for an Event

People attending your church can use the Church Center app to pre-check in themselves and their family members. This process generates a QR code, which they can scan at a Check-Ins station to have labels printed.

People with editor permissions can enable the Church Center app for events by using Check-Ins on a web browser.

Important

If no live events are enabled in Church Center, the Check-In page in the Church Center app will be hidden. 

  1. Select the Events page from the top navigation in Check-Ins.

  2. Choose an event from the list.

  3. Select the Settings tab from the left sidebar.

  4. Scroll down to the Church Center App section of the Event Settings.

  5. Check the Enable in Church Center box.

    Important

    If you do not see a way to enable Church Center in your event's Settings, an organization administrator may need to set it up for your account.

  6. Check the boxes that correspond to the additional settings you'd like to apply to Church Center pre-checks.

    • If you don't have Allow Complete Check-In checked, the event will show at the beginning of the day of the event, which allows people to pre-check as early as they want. To complete their check-in, they must scan the QR code at a station.

    • If you want people to be able to check in without scanning a QR code, enable Allow Complete Check-In and remove all labels from the event/location. You can then hide the event from Church Center until the show-at time set in the event's Times tab.
