Archive or restore a page
If you no longer need a custom page, you can archive it. If you change your mind later, you can always restore the archived page!
Archive a custom page
You can only archive custom pages. While you can't archive built-in pages, you can remove them from the Church Center navigation to reduce their visibility.
To archive a custom page:
Select Pages from the top navigation.
Select the Actions button in line with the custom page you want to archive.
Select Archive from the dropdown.
(Optional) By default, people are redirected to the home page if they try to use the link to the archived page; however, select the Change button and search for a different page to redirect congregants to when they use a bookmark or link to the archived page.
Select Archive Page.
Important
Archiving a page does not automatically remove it from the Church Center navigation menu. Edit the navigation to remove it.
Restore an archived page
Custom pages are never deleted, so you can always restore them as needed.
Select Pages from the top navigation.
Select Active pages above the list of pages.
Select Archived pages in the dropdown.
Select the Actions button in line with the custom page you want to restore.
Select Edit from the dropdown.
Select Restore as draft.
(Optional) Select Publish to make the page visible in Church Center again. If you removed it from the navigation, you would also need to edit the navigation to add it back.
