Create templates for projects
Certain task lists are predictable because you do the same thing every time. For example, after every service, the facilities team has a list of rooms that require cleaning, and each year, your church follows the same task list for special holidays. These kinds of lists can be created as templates so your teams know what to do each time!
Create a template
This feature is currently only available when using Home in a web browser.
Select the Tasks page from the top navigation.
In the left sidebar, select the ➕ plus icon next to Templates.
Enter a name for the template.
Select Add tasks.
Enter the task name.
Add a description or links to the task.
Select a due date for the task. The Relative option allows you to set a due date that's relative to when the list is created.
Select Create task.
Repeat this process to add additional tasks.
You can add collaborators who can be assigned to tasks and notified when a list is created from this template by selecting the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right and choosing Manage collaborators from the dropdown.
To change the color for the list, select the circle icon next to the list name and choose a color from the dropdown.

If you've already created a list that would be a great template, here's how to create a template from the list. This feature is currently only available when using Home in a web browser.
Select the Tasks page from the top navigation.
Select the list from the left sidebar.
Select the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right.
Choose Create template from this list from the dropdown.
Select Create in the popup.
