Manage task notifications
Manage your task notifications to stay on top of tasks assigned to you and keep track of those assigned to others on your team.
Set notification preferences
Notifications in the Planning Center mobile app are managed using your iOS or Android device's system settings. When notifications are enabled, you'll receive task-specific notifications when a task is assigned to you or when you're added as a collaborator to a list. Follow the steps below to access your device's system settings.
Select your profile picture or initials in the top right of the app.
Select Manage system notifications.
Tip
You can also receive a daily notification when you have tasks due within two days or are overdue. To activate this notification, follow the steps below to enable the daily reminder email using a web browser.
In addition to receiving notifications when a task is assigned to you, you can also receive a daily reminder email with tasks due soon and ready workflow cards.
Select the 📋 clipboard icon in the toolbar to open your To do list.
Select the ⚙️ settings icon at the top.
Select My to-dos for today and choose a reminder schedule from the dropdown to receive an additional daily reminder email.
Tip
The Task Assignments box is already checked and grayed out because these notification emails are always sent automatically when a task is assigned to you or when you are added as a collaborator on a task list.
Select Save to apply notification preferences.
