Use tasks for to-do lists

Create a task

Edit a task

  1. Select Tasks from the bottom navigation of the Planning Center app.

  2. Select All tasks.

  3. Scroll or use the sort and filter options at the top of the list to find the task you want to edit.

  4. Select the task.

  5. Make your edits in the Task Details popup.

  6. Select Save changes.

  1. Select the Tasks page from the top navigation.

  2. Select the three-dot icon to the right of the task you want to edit.

  3. Choose Edit task from the dropdown.

  4. Make your edits in the Edit task popup.

  5. Select Save changes.

Tip

You can duplicate an existing task by choosing Duplicate task after selecting the three-dot icon.

Delete a task

Warning

Deleted tasks cannot be recovered.

  1. Select Tasks from the bottom navigation of the Planning Center app.

  2. Select All tasks.

  3. Scroll or use the sort and filter options at the top of the list to find the task you want to delete.

  4. Select the task.

  5. Select the three-dot icon at the top right of the app.

  6. Select Delete task from the dropdown.

  7. Select Delete in the pop-up.

  2. Select the three-dot icon to the right of the task you want to delete.

  3. Choose Delete task from the dropdown.

Create a task from the toolbar

The toolbar allows you to create a task from anywhere in Planning Center while using a web browser.

  1. Select the 📋 clipboard icon in the toolbar.

  2. Use the first dropdown to select the list where you want to create the task.

  3. Select the ➕ icon to create a task.

  4. Enter the details of your task.

  5. Select Create task.
