Take or update attendance
Leaders and designated members can take attendance by following the link in their attendance email or using Church Center, starting one hour before the event.
Take attendance
Select your profile picture or initials at the top of the app.
Scroll down and select the group you want to take attendance for under the Activity & involvement section.
In the Upcoming events section, tap Take attendance.
Tap the name of each member in attendance.
(Optional) Tap Add member in the New people section to add someone new to your group.
Exercise caution if you see a "suspicious activity" or "high scam risk" banner on a request, and verify that person's identity before approving their request! This will keep your church safe and prevent you from accidentally adding a scammer to your group.
(Optional) Tap the ⊕ plus icon or the ⊖ minus icon in the New people section to update the number of visitors you have.
(Optional) Tap Notes under the event details to include details about the event or your visitors.
Tap Submit in the top right corner when you're done.

Scroll down and select the group you want to take attendance for under the Activity & involvement section.
Select the Events tab.
Select the Take attendance button next to your event.
Select the name of each member who attended.
(Optional) Select Add member in the New people section to add a new person to the group.

Allow members to take attendance
You can delegate attendance-taking duties to specific group members by following the steps below.
Select your profile picture or initials at the top of the app.
Scroll down and select the group under the Activity & involvement section.
Tap Members at the top of the page.
Tap the person you'd like to take attendance.
Under Permissions, turn the Can take attendance toggle on. The setting auto-saves.
Select your profile picture or initials at the top of the page.
Scroll down and select the group under the Activity & involvement section.
Select Members on the left.
Select the person you'd like to take attendance.
Under Permissions, check the box next to Can take attendance The setting auto-saves.
Once you allow someone to take attendance, they'll receive attendance emails and be able to take and modify attendance and visitor count, and leave notes on events.
Take or update attendance for past events
Follow the steps below if you forgot to take attendance for an event and it's already passed, or you need to make changes to the submitted attendance.
Select your profile picture or initials at the top of the app.
Scroll down and select the group you want to take attendance for under the Activity & involvement section.
Tap Events at the top.
Tap the Actions button.
Tap View past events.
Find the event and tap Take attendance.
If you're updating attendance, select the event and tap Update.
Tap the name of each member who attended.

Tap Done in the top right corner to submit the attendance.

Scroll down and select the group you want to take attendance for under the Activity & involvement section.
Select the Events tab.
Scroll down to the Past events section.
Select Take attendance to record a new attendance record.
If you're modifying attendance, select the event and select Update to make changes.
Select the name of each member who attended.
