Sermons and Services integration

You can coordinate your series and plans in Services with channels and episodes in Sermons by importing plan information when creating a new episode or adding a plan to an existing one. Episodes with connected plans can be viewed in Services.

View the episode from Services

After the episode is created in Publishing, you can access it from the linked plan in Services.

From within the episode, select the View Plan button on the bottom left to open the page in Services.

On the bottom left of the plan page, select View the episode on Church Center to open the episode in the mobile app or web browser, or choose Edit in Publishing to make changes to the episode in Publishing.

Share a public plan on Church Center

After importing your plan information, allow people to access your connected plan without logging in to Services. Add a link to the public page for your Order of Service in Church Center. 

In Services, enable a plan's public view by selecting the information you want people to see on your plan's public view. These details will be visible on Church Center. 

  1. Choose Plans from the top navigation in Services.

  2. Select the plan you'd like to share.

  3. Select the share button in the top right corner of the Order tab of the plan.

  4. Toggle on the Enable Public Viewoption in the dropdown.

Once you've enabled public access to your plan, you can share your service order on Church Center by adding it to all episodes within a channel or a specific episode.

Add a service order to all episodes

  1. On the Sermons page, select a channel.

  2. Select the Settings tab.

  3. Under the Default links section, select the Add button on the bottom left.

  4. Choose Order of Service from the dropdown. If a plan is not connected, you will not see the Order of Service option in the dropdown.

Add a service order to an individual episode

  1. On the Sermons page, select a channel.

  2. On the Episodes tab, select an episode.

  3. Select the Media and Resources tab.

  4. Select the Add button under the Links section.

  5. Choose Order of Service from the dropdown. If a plan is not connected, you will not see the Order of Service option in the dropdown.
